The Substation, 2019
Key art and printed matter created for Rejects, The Substation’s Singapore Night Festival exhibition celebrating works and artists shaped by rejection. Inspired by the historic Salon des Refusés, the exhibition brought together 70 open-call submissions, with all artworks offered for sale and proceeds going directly to the artists. The visual identity reworked the formal language of the UOB Painting of the Year into a more irreverent, punk-inspired graphic system. The project also included custom typography and message cards that accompanied the exhibition.
