A commissioned illustration created for Light to Night Singapore 2025, reflecting on the experience of growing up as a millennial in Singapore. The work brings together familiar youth haunts such as *SCAPE Youth Park, arcades and Escape Theme Park—places that may not be considered iconic landmarks, but remain deeply embedded in the memories of a generation. Composed as a layered visual narrative, the illustration considers how ordinary leisure spaces become personal landmarks over time. By revisiting places that have changed, disappeared or been outgrown, Return to Paradise explores nostalgia, collective memory and the ways a generation remembers its youth through the spaces it once occupied.
